GAC Officially Enters the Israeli Market



On September 3, 2025, GAC made a significant move by officially entering the Israeli market through an event dubbed "AION Home," held in collaboration with the UNION GROUP at Ronit Farm. This occasion marked a pivotal moment in GAC’s global expansion, introducing its innovative approach to electric mobility to the region.

The event was graced by key figures, including Zhang Lei, the Executive Vice President of GAC INTERNATIONAL's European Regional Center and Ran Danai, CEO of the Union Group, among others. Attendees included media representatives and potential clients who gathered to witness GAC's entry into the Israeli market, emphasizing the importance of this milestone in their overseas strategy.

To showcase the distinctive allure of the AION brand, GAC set up an immersive showroom called "AION Home" at the venue. The space was designed to facilitate interaction, highlighting AION’s offerings. In the family area, attendees could explore the impressive range of 510 km offered by the AION along with its spacious interior. In a uniquely designed library resembling a bookshelf, GAC showcased its core technologies, further emphasizing its commitment to cutting-edge innovation.

The main interactive hub, the Living Room, served as the brand’s central communication space with consumers, allowing for meaningful engagement.

During the event, GAC introduced three flagship models, namely the comfort-focused SUV AION V, the luxury SUV HYPTEC HT, and the compact SUV AION Y. This showcases GAC's diverse lineup and commitment to future development, promising additional Battery Electric Vehicles (BEVs) and Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicles (PHEVs) in the near future. Collaborating with Orion, GAC plans to establish five sales locations by the end of the year, providing intelligent and eco-friendly mobility solutions rooted in the philosophy of “Service First.”

Alongside its market introduction, GAC accelerated the establishment of its multi-channel distribution network. Three initial channel networks were launched, covering central and northern Israel to better address the varied demands of local consumers. Guided by the philosophy of “In Local, For Local,” these channels are supported by professional service teams committed to offering customers comprehensive solutions, from vehicle selection to purchase and after-sales service.

This holistic approach underscores GAC's dedication to building long-lasting trust and fostering its service ecosystem within Israel.

GAC’s foray into the Israeli market and the establishment of its distribution network are significant strides towards realizing its global strategy labeled "One GAC 2.0". Moving forward, GAC aims to deepen collaboration with local dealers, leveraging its position in Israel to continually enhance its product lineup and service system while further accelerating its global brand expansion.
