Exploring Japanese Culture and Career Insights through Nippori Seminar Radio

Rediscovering Japanese Culture and Education!

In an effort to deepen the understanding of Japanese culture and careers, the radio program "Nippori Seminar" brings in guests from diverse backgrounds to share their insights. Recently, we had the pleasure of hosting Daiki Nogami, the CEO of Content Guild, as our 39th guest.

"Sincerely Playing" is the guiding philosophy of LAMM, the organization behind the Nippori Seminar. Based in Arakawa, Tokyo, LAMM, led by CEO Kouta Nimura, aims to foster a community of individuals striving to live their own lives. The initiative incorporates a weekly radio program where guests with varied careers discuss business and culture, creating an engaging learning experience.

On July 31, 2026, at 19:00, the first half of the episode featuring Daiki Nogami will be available on various podcast platforms. Born in 1993 in Ota, Tokyo, Nogami reflects on his childhood, highlighting how a change in his social environment led him to connect with new friends through a shared love for comedy. He recounts how laughter played a significant role in his life, even considering a career in comedy at one point. However, realizing the fierce competition in the field, he shifted his focus towards production and storytelling.

After graduating from Keio University, he took on a leadership role in the university's comedy club, "O-keis," while simultaneously kickstarting his career as a scriptwriter. His desire to work behind the scenes in content creation steered him toward the media industry, where he joined Nippon Broadcasting System. Over the years, he progressed from being an assistant director to chief director and made history as the youngest producer in the company's history in 2024.

In August 2026, after leaving Nippon Broadcasting, Daiki established Content Guild. His new venture aims to support emerging podcasters and businesses entering the fast-growing podcasting market. With a focus on a wide range of services, including planning, production, and promotion, Nogami is set to make profound contributions to the digital content landscape.

In his appearances on Nippori Seminar, Daiki discussed the motivations behind the formation of Content Guild, shared the challenges he faced, and offered insights into the future of the seminar itself. The two-part episode allows listeners to gain a unique perspective from a seasoned producer, and we encourage everyone to tune in.
