The MDA CHORUS™ constellation promises advanced dual-band synthetic aperture radar (SAR) imaging, capable of delivering unparalleled 700 km-wide swath images and sub-metre high-resolution spotlight images at any time of day, irrespective of weather conditions. As the constellation is set to have two types of satellites for comprehensive coverage, the leading wide-area C-band satellite will deliver extensive area images, while the high-resolution X-band satellite will provide focused detail where necessary.
