This occasion is a testament to its journey as a beloved app that has entertained multiple generations of readers. To express gratitude to all its fans, a special event themed "From Emotion to Shock. Together with You, Every Day from Now On" will take place.

Anniversary Event Details

The anniversary celebration is scheduled for July 10 (Friday) and 11 (Saturday), 2026, at the Sanagi Shinjuku Event Space in Tokyo. Attendees can enter the event by simply displaying the Sunday Webry app on their devices! As a token of appreciation, exclusive treats, including the refreshing Florida Sundae (available in blueberry or mango), will be offered for free (while supplies last) to attendees who have either downloaded the app beforehand or choose to download it on-site. Come and enjoy a special time of manga reading and delectable sundae tasting!

Special Guest Appearances

In addition to the main event, a special segment is planned for July 10 at 10 AM, featuring popular comedians who love manga, including Hiroyuki Inoue of NON STYLE and Takugo Sakamoto and Yuta Nakaya from Mayurika. They will discuss their love for manga in a lively talk show. There will also be a collaboration with the hit YouTube series "Tank Top Kitchen" from the comedy duo, "Beni Shoga," along with an exclusive invitation for 30 special fans from the 'Webry Reader Special Slot'. Sunday Cultural Festival – Continuing the Tradition

Additionally, the much-anticipated Sunday Cultural Festival will be returning this year, following its successful launch in 2019. This festival will once again exhibit exclusive merchandise featuring original art from popular Weekly Shonen Sunday series such as "Detective Conan" created by Gosho Aoyama and "Sousou no Frieren" illustrated by Tsukasa Abe. This year's theme, "Club Activities," will showcase illustrations like "Frieren x Figure Skating Club" and "Shinichi Kudo x Basketball Club"—which will be turned into event-exclusive merchandise.

Festival Highlights

The event features exciting stages, including "Detective Conan" stage featuring Aoyama-sensei, a discussion stage with new talent, and a treasure hunt stage where fans can win signed goods from their favorite authors. Look forward to a uniquely enriching experience filled with manga and art!
