In the heart of Fukuoka, Japan, the Local Venture Group has launched its seventh cohort of the Local Venture Academy, aimed at aspiring entrepreneurs from all walks of life. What is the Local Venture Academy?
The Local Venture Academy is designed to guide individuals who are considering starting a business. This includes not just those looking to launch from scratch, but also employees wanting to pursue side gigs, freelancers seeking to formalize their work, and anyone with an innovative idea.
Over a four-month period from July to October, participants will engage in a rigorous and impactful program focusing on developing comprehensive business plans that are suitable for securing startup finance. To date, nearly 200 individuals have graduated from the program, resulting in numerous new businesses and multiple awards across various regions.

The academy’s program is designed with inclusivity in mind, welcoming individuals aged 25 to 40 from diverse backgrounds, including students, professionals, and even foreign nationals.
