Importance of Spot AI in Modern Tourism Management for Local Governments

Seminar Announcement:

Say Goodbye to Traditional Tourism Apps?

On May 27, 2026, the General Association for Municipalities' Digital Transformation (GDX) will be hosting an online seminar titled “Say Goodbye to Traditional Tourism Apps? Utilizing Spot AI (ToyTalk) to Resolve Tourism and Regional Challenges.” The seminar targets professionals working in local government tourism promotion departments, city promotion officials, and staff from tourism associations and Destination Management Organizations (DMOs).

The session will feature Kunsho Tsutsui, Co-CEO of Bridgewell, Inc., who will address pressing issues faced by tourism professionals, including lack of time and budget constraints related to tourism digital transformation (DX). Attendees will learn about a new AI implementation approach that can be executed within three minutes, at low cost, and without the need for a dedicated app, presented through real-life examples.

Background of the Seminar

A DX survey conducted by GDX in July 2025 revealed that approximately 49% of local government and tourism association employees are juggling multiple responsibilities while promoting tourism DX. Additionally, many reported that tourism-related budgets were frequently less than 5 million yen, highlighting the limited resources available for such initiatives.

In a landscape where traditional AI solutions require several months for setup and involve substantial costs, alongside the ongoing demands for updates and operations for tourism apps, a misalignment occurs. Numerous stakeholders find themselves in situations where they have invested in solutions that are no longer in use, with only the burden of operational challenges remaining.

The seminar aims to bridge the gap between current challenges faced by professionals and traditional DX solutions. Participants will discover how Spot AI, specifically the platform ToyTalk, can serve as a fresh, viable solution directly from the developers, Bridgewell, Inc.

Who Should Attend?

This seminar is ideal for tourism professionals confronted with the following issues:
  • - Burdensome updates and operations from previously developed tourism apps.
  • - Interest in enhancing support for tourist inquiries during events, but with a limited budget.
  • - The desire to explore AI introduction, yet facing unrealistic costs in the hundreds of thousands of yen.
  • - A need for a light and flexible AI implementation for temporary events and campaigns.
  • - Goals to improve the quality of tourist interactions with a minimal workforce.

Featured Speaker

Kunsho Tsutsui, Co-CEO of Bridgewell, Inc.
After working with a materials trading company dealing in electronic components, Tsutsui established Bridgewell. The firm initially focused on developing products utilizing phosphorescent pigments, later introducing the diaper subscription service for public nurseries, which rapidly expanded to around 70 municipalities within three years.
Now, leveraging a network of local municipalities and expertise in problem-solving, Tsutsui promotes the Spot AI platform “ToyTalk.”
