From March 25th to the 31st, the Marunozu Marunouchi Main Store will host a charming exhibition titled "The Tale of Little Squirrels" featuring the heartwarming creations of artist Chisa Fujioka. Renowned for her delightful portrayal of squirrels, Fujioka captures the essence of these adorable creatures across various forms of art.

The exhibition will showcase a diverse collection that includes original paintings, prints, merchandise, and her latest publication titled "Squirrel Origami Letter Book" published by Seibu Bunka. About the Artist


Chisa Fujioka graduated from the Women's University of Arts, specializing in Western-style painting. She began her career in 2001, designing attractive packaging for the renowned Tokyo pastry shop Saiko-tei, where her charming squirrel illustrations gained popularity. Since then, she has become known as the “artist who draws squirrels.”

Her work has expanded beyond packaging; in December 2021, she began contributing cover art for the menus of the Italian wine and café restaurant Saizeriya, captivating a wider audience.

Today, Chisa Fujioka continues to hold exhibitions in department stores nationwide while actively working as an illustrator across various industries, captivating hearts with her joyful interpretations of life's simple pleasures.
