Warrior Rising Announces the 2025 Saluting Her Service Business Shower in Washington, D.C.

The occasion will culminate in a live pitch competition held at the iconic Warner Theatre later that evening.

The Saluting Her Service event has become a cherished annual tradition that highlights the contributions of two often overlooked demographics within the veteran community: women veterans and military spouses. Although the number of women in the U.S. military continues to rise, their representation among business owners remains disproportionately low. In the year 2024 alone, the organization aided 2,823 Academy graduates, allocated over $576,000 in cash grants, and organized five national Business Showers, ultimately funding 42 veteran-owned businesses.

• - Paden Sickles, Founder of SickFit, grew her performance sock brand into a $2 million international label.
• - Alex McLeod and Jay Long, Co-Founders of Parlay Finance, secured investments from major firms such as Google, Microsoft, and IBM following their victory at one of the Business Showers.
