On August 6, 2025, Origis Energy, a leader in renewable energy solutions in the United States, and Pioneer Community Energy, a non-profit electricity provider based in Rocklin, California, officially announced their collaboration through a significant 20-year agreement. The Chalan Solar + Storage project, located in Lost Hills, Kern County, California, will feature a capacity of 65 MWac of solar energy alongside a 25 MW (100 MWh) battery energy storage system. The projected timeline suggests that the Chalan project will commence commercial operations in 2026.

He stated, “Our partnership with Origis Energy comes at a very opportune time.
