Major Update 'Tusk Force' for War Thunder

DMM GAMES has announced a significant update for the popular online combat game, War Thunder, developed in collaboration with Gaijin Entertainment. The Tusk Force update, released on September 23, 2025, promises players an enriched experience by integrating a diverse range of Thai military assets into the game.

What's New in Tusk Force?

The Tusk Force update marks War Thunder's third major release of 2025, showcasing the addition of over 40 new combat vehicles and enhancements to existing ones. Notable introductions include the BM Oplot-T main battle tank and the F-5TH Super Tigris fighter jet, now strengthening the Japanese tech tree. Players can also expect various new technologies throughout this update, including a 203mm gun-equipped vehicle and missile-equipped ships.

Highlights of New Weaponry

• - BM Oplot-T: This main battle tank, a derivative of the T-80UD, boasts cutting-edge features such as explosive reactive armor, laser warning receivers, and optical-electronic countermeasures, ensuring enhanced survivability on the battlefield. Its upgraded transmission allows it to move in reverse at speeds exceeding 30 km/h. The 125mm smoothbore gun, KBA-3, supports not only Soviet shells but also Chinese-made GP125 ATGMs and BTA4 APFSDS rounds.

• - F-5TH Super Tigris: Developed with Israeli cooperation, this advanced variant of the F-5E/F Tiger II features significant upgrades like Derby air-to-air missiles and tactical data links. With improved avionics, radar, and cockpit enhancements, the F-5TH has been modernized to meet current combat standards, offering high-performance air-to-air capabilities.

• - USS Charles F. Adams: The USS Charles F. Adams stands as the first missile destroyer built by the U.S. Navy. Enhanced from its predecessor, the Forrest Sherman class, this ship features a medium-range surface-to-air missile system, RIM-24 Tartar, capable of engaging enemy vessels effectively.

Visual and Gameplay Improvements

Beyond new weaponry, the update refreshes the visuals of Eastern Europe and Poland while retaining the familiar layout. Improvements include detailing in building designs and the addition of new flora, creating more vibrant and realistic environments.
