Celebrate 20 Years of Hao Chinese Academy with a Cultural Workshop
Hao Chinese Academy, operated by AEON Corporation, is excited to announce its special workshop, "Experience Traditional Chinese Culture with All Five Senses!" This event will take place on September 23, 2025, during the Mid-Autumn Festival, offering an immersive experience into the rich tapestry of Chinese culture and language.

The highlight of the day will undoubtedly be the
Face-Changing Show, led by Mr. Wang Wenqiang, an expert in this traditional art form that originates from Sichuan Province. Known as 'Bianmian', this thrilling performance showcases the rapid transformation of masks as actors conceal their faces momentarily, revealing a series of vividly crafted masks representing historical figures, deities, and animals. This captivating spectacle appeals to audiences of all ages and backgrounds, ensuring an unforgettable experience.
In addition to the performances, the workshop aims to inspire participants to learn about China’s history and cultural heritage. The Hao Chinese Academy strives to support students’ enthusiasm and enhance their language skills through special courses and cultural exchange opportunities.

Participation Fee:
- - For Current Students of Hao Chinese Academy: ¥5,500 (tax included)
Students with a regular private lesson contract can use one lesson for this event.
- - For Non-Students: ¥6,600 (tax included)

- - Face-Changing Show: A remarkable performance by Mr. Wang Wenqiang, known as the 'God of Face-Changing' in Japan, will dazzle the audience with captivating artistry.

About Mr. Wang Wenqiang
Mr. Wang Wenqiang represents the Chinese Face-Changing Arts Center and has dedicated his life to traditional Chinese theater since childhood. He trained in Anhui Province and studied under the master known for Face-Changing. After receiving nationwide accolades for his performances, he has inspired many through cultural exchange initiatives since relocating to Japan in 2014.
