The Epic 4th T-Rex Race at Soleil Hill
On March 7, 2026, the renowned T-Rex Race will take place at Soleil Hill, located in Yokosuka, Kanagawa Prefecture. This year’s event is set to be the most spectacular yet, with 300 participants expected, including 220 adult T-Rexes and 80 juvenile T-Rexes. As part of the festivities, a chaotic T-Rex parade will make its debut, creating even more excitement!
Soleil Hill Park, managed by Hibiya Kadan Co., Ltd., promises visitors an immersive experience with the opening of its new dinosaur-themed area, Dinosaur Island, on March 6, just one day before the race. This latest attraction features dinosaurs that are dramatically larger than previous exhibits, including a staggering 10-meter-long T-Rex. As visitors step into Dinosaur Island, they're transported into a prehistoric world rich with thrilling adventures and a sense of wonder for both kids and adults alike.
The T-Rex Race, now in its fourth year, has grown tremendously in popularity. Respected for its crowd-pulling capacity, interest is expected to spike right when registration opens. For this year’s event, organizers are thrilled to announce the largest scale yet, with slots for 300 T-Rexes, promising a lively atmosphere in the springtime at Soleil Hill’s “Nonbiri Harappa” field.
Special Highlights of This Year’s Event
One of the highlights of the race this year is the introduction of the T-Rex Parade, an innovative feature where colorful T-Rexes will dance and march to music along a central pathway, creating an unforgettable, whimsical spectacle.
In addition to the thrilling race, other exciting activities will include the T-Rex Tug of War, where participants wield their short front limbs to build camaraderie and laughter. There will also be the T-Rex Fashion Contest, showcasing creatively decorated T-Rex suits where participants vie for the best-dressed title.
