LEGO Group Expands 2025 Creativity Workshop Series with Botanical Theme

The LEGO Group has recently announced the continuation of their popular 2025 Creativity Workshop series, with the second workshop focusing on a vibrant botanical theme. Following a successful debut event in April, these workshops aim to engage young creators aged 6 to 12 and foster their imagination and social skills through both in-store and online experiences.

These upcoming workshops will offer opportunities for participation both virtually and in-person, all free of charge. At the forefront of the online aspect is renowned content creator Christopher Griffin, known as Plant Kween, who will lead the remote session that encourages young creators to explore their creativity by building LEGO botanical structures at their own pace from home. This online workshop is now available on the LEGO Group’s official website at LEGO.com/CreativityWorkshops.

In addition to the online event, the LEGO Group is also hosting two engaging in-person workshops scheduled for June 28th and 29th at select LEGO Stores across North America. During these events, LEGO Brick Specialists will guide participants as they craft their very own butterfly gardens, providing expert tips and fostering a collaborative environment that emphasizes creativity and exploration. Interested participants can secure their free tickets in advance via the same website, but spaces are limited, so early booking is urged.

The workshops not only emphasize hands-on creativity but also aim to instill a deeper appreciation of nature and its beauty. With themes that change throughout the year, including topics like friendship and summer fun, these workshops reflect the LEGO Group's commitment to empowering children, especially girls, to explore their creativity.

Reflecting on this initiative, Plant Kween expressed his excitement, stating: "I have always felt a profound connection to nature, and I love infusing my living space with botanical elements. This opportunity to share that love with young creators is incredibly meaningful to me, as they use their imaginations to build and connect with the wonders of the natural world. It's all about hands-on, joyful learning that truly plants the seeds for creativity and connection."

The LEGO Group has remained at the forefront of childhood development through play since its foundation in Billund, Denmark, in 1932. With a mission to inspire and develop the builders of tomorrow, LEGO encourages children to use their creativity and problem-solving skills through interactive experiences with its renowned bricks. Today, LEGO products are available in over 120 countries, continuing to bring joy and inspiration to children and adults alike worldwide.
