The iconic Tokyo Tower is set to host an exciting event titled "San-X Universe x Tokyo Tower: Waku Waku Shiba Sanpo" starting May 2, 2026. This collaboration promises a delightful experience where fans can meet beloved San-X characters, shop for exclusive merchandise, and partake in special themed events.

Exclusive Pop-Up Store

San-X Co., Ltd., headquartered in Chiyoda, Tokyo, will open a pop-up store featuring a whopping 260 items inspired by beloved characters such as Rilakkuma and Sumikko Gurashi. Among these, approximately 44 unique items will be exclusively available for sale, with a sneak preview of 13 of them launching early on May 2.

One highlight of the merchandise is an array of limited-edition products that showcase beautiful illustrations, merging the whimsical world of San-X characters with the enchanting backdrop of Tokyo Tower. Fans can find an exciting range of products including acrylic keychains, mugs, tote bags, and badge buttons, ensuring there’s something special for everyone. Notably, an original apron worn by staff during promotional events has garnered over 30 inquiries, prompting an additional limited release. The pop-up store will also feature unique experiences like capsule toys and special greetings from Rilakkuma on select days. For added incentive, the first 1,000 customers who spend over 3,000 yen will receive one of four collectible badges!

Delicious Food from the Kitchen Car

Adding another layer of fun, the event will host a treasure hunt titled "San-X Universe Ripoin to Hirameki Nazomeguri!" This engagement will take guests on a captivating journey through the enchanting 2km area of Shiba Park, with a height difference of approximately 150 meters, on a quest to uncover a special meeting point of San-X characters. Those solving the riddles will receive an exclusive clear file.
