HYLENR Secures Pre-Series A Funding for Low-energy Nuclear Reaction Systems

HYLENR Secures Vital Pre-Series A Funding for Clean Energy Solutions

In a significant move towards revolutionizing clean energy, HYLENR, a trailblazing startup specializing in low-energy nuclear reactions (LENR), has successfully closed a Pre-Series A funding round, collecting approximately $3.0 million. This injection of capital is earmarked to accelerate the development and commercial deployment of their innovative thermal energy systems for industrial applications. This financing demonstrates the growing investor confidence in LENR technology as a viable alternative to fossil fuels.

The funding round was spearheaded by Valour Capital and Chhattisgarh Investments Limited, both of which focus on clean energy and advanced technology investments. Notable individual investors, Karthik Sundar Iyer and Anant Sarda, also participated, showing a solid belief in HYLENR's potential. PwC acted as the advisory firm while Samvad Partners provided legal counsel during this transaction.

This latest funding allows HYLENR to transition rapidly from pilot project phases to market introduction. Chairman of the board, Karan Goshar, highlighted the revolutionary nature of the LENR technology, emphasizing its potential to redefine industrial heat and energy production. He stated that the scalability and safety profile of their systems, combined with the expertise of the HYLENR team, positions them at the forefront of the global energy transition.

CEO Siddhartha Durairajan echoed this sentiment, noting recent laboratory results suggest unprecedented energy gain rates, enabling substantial focus on product development roadmaps. The company's upcoming objectives include scaling production and extending its global footprint, given the numerous expressions of interest from governmental and large corporate bodies in their LENR technologies.

As co-founder and CEO Ram Ramaseshan remarked, this funding signifies a crucial endorsement of their mission and technology. The investment allows HYLENR to accelerate product development to meet the high demand for efficient, clean thermal and electric energy solutions across the US, Europe, India, and Japan.

The company has already embarked on pilot projects with top industrial players and government institutions aiming to replace traditional fossil fuel-based systems with next-generation sustainable alternatives. Their product range is diverse, catering to both domestic needs—starting from 7.2 kW units—and large-scale industrial applications spanning up to 1 MW.

Looking to solidify their momentum, HYLENR plans to initiate a subsequent funding round, seeking $25 million from strategic investors and clean energy-focused funds, aiming to support R&D and engineering efforts alongside establishing international partnerships. The founders believe that LENR will be a cornerstone of the post-carbon energy era.

HYLENR's cutting-edge technology is rooted in the pioneering efforts of Chief Innovation Officer, Padma Shri Dr. Prahlada, renowned for contributions to India's Akash missile project, and Dr. Varaprasad, the company’s scientific chief.
