Voltage Energy Group Unveils IBEX PLUS and LYNX Connections at RE+ 2025

Introduction

Voltage Energy Group has made a bold statement at the RE+ 2025 expo in Las Vegas with the unveiling of its innovative pre-assembled electrical wiring solution, IBEX PLUS, along with a new bus connection called LYNX. These pioneering solutions aim to fill significant gaps in the market, specifically tailored for large-scale photovoltaic projects. Designed for ease of installation and long-term reliability, these systems reflect Voltage Energy's commitment to innovation in solar energy technology.

IBEX PLUS: Solving Long-Standing Issues

The IBEX PLUS system addresses key challenges faced in the medium-Scale solar photovoltaic sector. With a design that utilizes 97% flexible aluminum cabling, this new system is not only 41% lighter than traditional copper-based wiring solutions but also reduces capital costs by 27%. Importantly, the IBEX PLUS system is compatible with 2000V architectures, ensuring it meets the needs of the next generation of industry systems. The combination of copper and aluminum in its hybrid interfaces provides unmatched design flexibility while optimizing material usage and logistical efficiency.

LYNX Connection: Future-Ready Design

Accompanying the IBEX PLUS is the LYNX bus connection, engineered to handle high-voltage current requirements for photovoltaic stations. This innovative connection offers a bus capacity of up to 1250 MCM (791A), resulting in a 34% reduction in voltage drop compared to conventional 500 MCM designs. This allows for longer module string connections and optimized configurations, enhancing both installation ease and operational efficiency. Designed specifically for 2000V architectures, the LYNX connection leads to fewer potential points of failure, streamlining maintenance and operation processes.

Compliance and Reliability

Both the IBEX PLUS and the innovative LYNX connection have been created in accordance with UL9703 standards, ensuring regulatory compliance and safety in operation. Bob, Voltage Energy's Chief Technology Officer, expressed pride in the rollout of these solutions at RE+ 2025, emphasizing their value-oriented design and reliability that empower clients to construct more intelligent and sustainable solar power plants.

Future of Solar Energy with Voltage Energy

Looking ahead, Voltage Energy is committed to advancing the plug-and-play standards globally, supporting the industry's transition to high-voltage-hybrid architectures. By investing in innovation and customer-centric services, Voltage Energy aims to shape the direction of solar energy development for the next decade. Their mission to connect energy and unite people aligns with the ongoing evolution of the renewable energy sector.
