Hino, Tama, and Inagi Cities Join Forces for Unique Job Recruitment Fair
In light of the increasing challenges posed by declining birth rates and a shortage of personnel, public service positions have become less attractive in recent years. There has been a noticeable decrease in candidates for civil service examinations, alongside a rise in declined job offers. Moreover, many officials are opting to transition to private sector roles, as well as positions in Tokyo and special wards. In response to these evolving circumstances, the cities of Hino, Tama, and Inagi are collaborating for the first time to hold a unified job recruitment fair. This initiative aims to unearth diverse talent capable of contributing to the South Tama area.
The recruitment fair, scheduled for May 2, 2025, is designed to promote the unique appeal of the region and attract individuals who are particularly interested in securing a position in South Tama. By creating a platform for interaction between potential candidates and city representatives, the fair seeks to forge stronger connections with the community.
