Spring One-Day Camp: Strawberry Picking and Maze Challenge
Get ready for an exciting adventure aimed at nurturing curiosity and teamwork among children! The Plus One Education Group, a subsidiary of Riso Education Group, is thrilled to announce its upcoming event on
Sunday, March 8, 2026. This special day camp combines hands-on experiences with learning, making it perfect for young campers eager to explore the wonders of spring.
A Day of Exploration and Fun
The Spring One-Day Camp promises a delightful schedule packed with engaging activities. Kicking off in the heart of
Chiba Prefecture, children from kindergarten to sixth grade will have the opportunity to engage in strawberry picking at a high-rise farm. Participants will be guided through the fascinating world of strawberries, learning not just how to pick them but also understanding the different varieties and their cultivation methods.
1. Learn and Experience: Become a Strawberry Expert!
Before heading out to the fields, our mini strawberry experts will receive a comprehensive introduction to the various types of strawberries and their growing processes. This pre-picking session encourages children to observe and inquire, fostering a natural curiosity that will enhance their experience while picking strawberries.
2. Strawberry Ice Cream Making Using Salt and Ice!
One of the most exciting aspects of the day will be the strawberry ice cream-making workshop. Children will delve into the science behind freezing when they use salt and ice in a fun experiment. They'll learn why we use these ingredients and how they impact the freezing process. After creating their own ice cream, participants will be able to taste their delicious creation right on the spot!
3. Collaborative Fun: Maze Challenge
Children will also get to navigate a multi-level maze in teams, working together to reach the finish line. This activity promotes effective communication and teamwork, as they consult maps and assign roles to tackle challenges. Designed to be accessible to younger children, this maze experience emphasizes the joy of collaboration and the sense of achievement that comes from overcoming obstacles together.
