Celebrate Tanabata with a Purpose!
The year 2025 will see a delightful blend of compassion and tradition through the charity event "HAPPY SMILE for TANABATA," hosted by Mitsui Fudosan Hotel Management in collaboration with Group Happy Smile. Kicking off on
June 21, 2025, and running until
July 7, 2025, this initiative will span
40 locations across Japan and in Taipei, Taiwan, offering guests a unique and participatory Tanabata experience.
Event Features
During the event, attendees will have the opportunity to write their wishes on handmade
short strips of paper (tanzaku) crafted by individuals with disabilities. These wishes will then be hung on bamboo set up at each hotel's premises, turning participant hopes into a beautiful display of aspirations and dreams.
As part of the event’s charitable aspect, donation boxes will be set up in all participating locations. Contributions collected will be directed to Group Happy Smile, supporting their ongoing mission to create a world where everyone can smile together, regardless of their abilities.
