A recent survey conducted by Poplar Co., Ltd., led by CEO Hiroki Kato, unveils positive outcomes among elementary and junior high school students utilizing its online encyclopedia service, Sagasokka! through its educational platform MottoSokka!. Furthermore, in relation to their gathered research skills and understanding, 79% indicated they enjoy collecting and organizing information during classes focusing on comprehensive learning.

Encouragingly, 40% of those who expressed a fondness for research stated they developed this interest due to using Sagasokka!, showcasing the platform's transformative impact on young learners.

Increased Enjoyment in Learning



In terms of user experience, students reported significant changes after using Sagasokka!. Comments such as, "I can explore more independently," and "I find researching more enjoyable," were common among responses. The user-friendly interface, daily content updates, and clear explanations provided a conducive environment for students to develop an eagerness to explore topics. Additionally, an increase in awareness to cite information sources was noted, thanks to features that automatically insert references when users copy text from the service.

Positive User Experiences



Feedback from the open-ended section of the survey highlighted a range of positive sentiments from students of various grades. A 3rd grader remarked, "I learned the correct answers and started enjoying research!" while a 5th grader noted, "The information was clear and helpful for my studies." A 6th grader conveyed a transformation, stating, "I used to dislike computers and information, but after starting to use Sagasokka!, I have come to like it." These reflections underline Sagasokka!'s pivotal role in changing students' attitudes towards research and information technology.
