The Debut of LOUIS XIII Cognac's Art de la Table Collections
On September 24, 2025, LOUIS XIII Cognac thrilled the luxury market with the announcement of its first-ever porcelain tableware line, aptly named
Art de la Table. This new venture showcases not just high-end craftsmanship but also pays homage to the storied legacy of the LOUIS XIII brand, renowned for its exquisite cognac.
Two stunning collections are set to elevate dining experiences:
Soil is Our Soul and
Light of Time. Each collection consists of a six-piece set designed to reflect the rich terroir from which LOUIS XIII draws its distinctive flavors. The pieces are individually numbered, with only 750 sets made, a testament to the exclusivity and craftsmanship involved.
Craftsmanship that Celebrates Heritage
LOUIS XIII has always been celebrated for its enduring bond with the vineyards of Grande Champagne, the premier Cru of Cognac. The
Soil is Our Soul collection embodies this relationship by bringing the essence of the chalky soil into the dining space. The raw textures of the porcelain evoke the earth from which the eaux-de-vie are birthed, symbolizing LOUIS XIII's roots and commitment to quality. Anne-Laure Pressat, the brand's Executive Director, believes that these pieces transform a simple meal into a compelling story about heritage and craftsmanship.
In contrast, the
Light of Time collection captures the mystery associated with the aging process of LOUIS XIII’s cognac. Featuring delicate carvings that allow light to dance across its surface, the collection serves as a metaphorical glimpse into the hidden wonders of time, showcasing elegance and artistry through its design.
Both collections having been crafted in Limoges by 40 of the finest porcelain artisans from the House of J.L. Coquet, reflect a synergy of history and innovation. Artisans employed over a dozen new techniques in delicate sculpting and meticulous hand-painting, demonstrating a harmonious balance between individual craftsmanship and collective expertise.
Exclusive Launch Events
To celebrate the launch, LOUIS XIII will host exclusive dinner unveiling events in major cities across the globe, including Paris, London, and New York City. Attendees will have the unique opportunity to experience the collections up close, enjoying the fine dining associated with LOUIS XIII while surrounded by the exquisite porcelain that accompany their culinary journey.
The price points for these extraordinary pieces range from $3,400 to $4,000, available either as individual items or complete sets. This investment offers not just a dining accessory, but an elevated, immersive experience reflective of the luxurious lifestyle that LOUIS XIII represents.
