Bulgin Unveils Its Latest 6000 Series Hybrid Connectors

Bulgin, a well-established brand under Infinite Electronics, has recently expanded its impressive Buccaneer series with the launch of the new 6000 series hybrid connectors. These innovative connectors are designed to seamlessly integrate power and signal functions within a single, rugged interface, catering to the ever-evolving needs of modern electronic devices.

Enhancing Connectivity in Compact Designs

The new hybrid connectors are particularly targeted towards smaller devices, such as testing and measuring equipment, sensors, and control systems. By combining power and signal connections into one unit, the 6000 series not only minimizes physical space but also simplifies the installation process, eliminating the need for separate cabling for power and signals.

Robust Features and Performance

The 6000 series boasts two central power contacts rated for up to 16A and signal contacts rated at 3A. Furthermore, it offers configurations with two, four, or six signal contacts, allowing designers the flexibility necessary to meet specific application requirements. This innovative design reduces clutter while ensuring robust performance.

Additionally, the connectors maintain the proven design and reliability of Bulgin's existing circular connectors. Key features include a 30-degree push/pull locking mechanism and panel mounting options that enhance versatility in installation. The connectors are certified to IP68 standards, which means they have been thoroughly tested for water and dust resistance, including tests at depths of up to 10 meters for two weeks. They have also undergone rigorous salt fog, dust, and thermal resistance tests, guaranteeing their durability in harsh conditions.

Showcasing at Electronica 2026

The new 6000 series connectors will be on full display at the upcoming electronica trade fair, held from November 10 to 13, at Infinite’s stand 241 in Hall A3. This event will also feature other innovative solutions addressing data center needs, energy solutions, drone technology, and industrial automation.
