Citius Oncology Reports Remarkable 120% Growth in LYMPHIR Shipments for Q4 2026

Citius Oncology Achieves Significant Growth in LYMPHIR® Sales

Citius Oncology, Inc., a biopharmaceutical firm committed to developing targeted therapies for oncology, reported astonishing results concerning its LYMPHIR® (denileukin diftitox-cxdl) product during the fiscal fourth quarter of 2026. The company revealed a substantial increase in the sales of LYMPHIR to U.S. wholesalers, with a remarkable growth rate of 120% over the previous quarter.

In its latest announcement, Citius Oncology stated that a total of 792 LYMPHIR units were purchased by wholesalers in the three months leading up to September 30, 2026. This is a significant jump from the previous quarter, where only 360 units were sold. This impressive leap in sales is attributed to the ongoing institutional demand for LYMPHIR, underscoring the drug's acceptance in the market.

Leonard Mazur, the Chairman and CEO of Citius Oncology, expressed optimism about the company's trajectory, indicating, "The fiscal fourth quarter showed continued institutional demand for LYMPHIR. Our expanded commercial team is making great strides by achieving nationwide coverage." He also highlighted that they are on track to list LYMPHIR on the formulary of 100 priority institutions by the end of the calendar year.

Additionally, the prescribing centers ordered 950 LYMPHIR vials during the fourth quarter, showcasing a steady flow of orders compared to 926 in the previous quarter. Furthermore, the number of institutions ordering LYMPHIR increased from 44 to 54 between mid-August and the end of September.

Growth Prospects for Fiscal 2027

As Citius Oncology enters fiscal 2027, Mazur expressed confidence that the momentum built in Q4 will continue into the new fiscal year. The company's strategy involves deeper penetration into both academic and community treatment centers, which is expected to result in steady sales growth as LYMPHIR becomes a mainstay treatment for cutaneous T-cell lymphoma (CTCL).

LYMPHIR is particularly targeted towards relapsed or refractory CTCL patients and has garnered significant attention for its mechanism of action. The drug is a recombinant fusion protein that selectively binds to IL-2 receptors on tumor cells. By utilizing diphtheria toxin fragments, LYMPHIR not only provokes cell death but also depletes immunosuppressive regulatory T lymphocytes, demonstrating its dual functionality in treating cancer.

The clinical development for LYMPHIR resulted in its FDA approval in December 2025, and the company believes that the potential market currently exceeds $400 million, showing signs of continued growth. Furthermore, Citius Oncology aims to maximize its competitive stance by protecting its intellectual property, which includes trade secrets, orphan drug designation, and pending patents.

With ongoing advancements and the demand for effective oncology treatments increasing, Citius Oncology is positioned well to capitalize on the expanding market. According to Mazur, the positive trajectory observed in Q4 2026 sets a firm foundation for more achievements in the coming periods. As the company approaches the end of the calendar year, stakeholders will eagerly await further updates on LYMPHIR's performance, as the potential for increased corporate value underlines the significance of their recent sales figures.

Looking Ahead

Citius Oncology is set to release its complete financial results for the fourth quarter and the fiscal year 2026 in December 2026, providing a more comprehensive perspective on the company's ongoing performance and market strategy.

Overall, Citius Oncology's remarkable sales increase, coupled with the company’s commitment to advancing oncology therapies, positions it as a prominent player in the biopharmaceutical realm, poised to deliver innovative solutions in cancer treatment.
