Dr. James D. Thomas Assumes Leadership of ABEM
The American Board of Emergency Medicine (ABEM) has welcomed Dr. James D. Thomas, MD, as its newly elected President. Dr. Thomas's impressive educational background includes a medical degree from the Medical College of Wisconsin, where he excelled in his studies. Following this, he completed his residency at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center in Toledo, Ohio, establishing a strong foundation for his future career. Notably, he has also contributed to the field as an oral examiner for over two decades, showcasing his commitment to maintaining high standards in medical education and certification.
In his inaugural address, Dr. Thomas stated, "Becoming President of ABEM is an honor.
