Dr. Mate currently serves as the Chief Medical Officer at Qualified Health AI, a digital health organization aimed at integrating artificial intelligence into healthcare practices safely and effectively. Before co-founding this company, he held the position of President and CEO at the Institute for Healthcare Improvement, a leading global organization dedicated to advancing healthcare quality and patient safety.

Additionally, Dr. Mate has significant governance experience through various boards and advisory roles in organizations like the MLK Community Health Foundation, Healthcare Excellence Canada, and the Center for Care Innovations. These experiences contribute to his strong understanding of the healthcare landscape and the critical need for innovative approaches to healthcare delivery.
