The first Asia-Oceania Kendo Championships (1AOKC), held on May 30-31, 2026, in the Tokyo Budokan, has successfully gathered participants from 23 countries and regions, establishing a new chapter in kendo history. Organized by the All Japan Kendo Federation and the Asia-Oceania Kendo Federation, the event adhered to its guiding philosophy:
