Get ready for a unique experience this Golden Week at the
Felissimo Chocolate Museum in Kobe! From May 2nd to May 6th, 2026, the museum will open its doors an hour earlier, at
10:00 AM, inviting chocolate lovers to indulge in creativity and enjoyment. This is a perfect opportunity to explore everything chocolate-related in a delightful atmosphere.
Early Opening Hours
During the pleasant spring days of May, with the sun shining and the waterfront area of Kobe inviting, the early opening allows guests greater access to explore the museum and nearby attractions such as the
Kobe Port Tower and
AQUARIUM×ART átoa. Special discounted tickets are available that allow tourists to visit multiple sites conveniently and economically.

Chocolate Hunting Game
In addition to the early opening, museum visitors can participate in the popular
Package Hunting campaign, running from May 2nd to May 6th. Participants search for a specific chocolate package among the museum's extensive collection of approximately
19,000 items. Those who successfully find the package and share the secret word with staff will receive a delightful piece of chocolate. This engaging experience aims to enhance visitors' exploration by not only visually enjoying the exhibits but also savoring the chocolates afterward.
Special Workshop with Artist Marimo Yoshida
As the grand finale of Golden Week, a special workshop will be held on
May 9th, 2026, featuring the talented artist
Marimo Yoshida, who has contributed significantly to the ongoing exhibition titled
Welcome to Patisserie Marimo’s Tea Party: Drifting through Choco-Mint Waves. Participants aged seven and older can craft their own decorative mini parfaits using resin and other materials, fitting the exhibition’s theme of a whimsical tea party.

Date and Time: May 9th (Saturday), 2:00 PM - 3:00 PM (Registration starts at 1:30 PM)
Location: Stage Felissimo Gallery, Kobe
Capacity: 15 participants (Reservation required)
Participation Fee: ¥2,500 (tax included, materials provided)

Kobe Architecture Festival 2026. From May 8th to May 10th, presenting a passport to the architecture festival will grant general admission at a discounted rate of ¥800 instead of ¥1,000.
