Sega Sammy Holdings Named Official Venue Partner for SASSEN Championship

Sega Sammy Holdings to Host the 4th SASSEN National Championship

With just 50 days remaining until the event, the All Japan SASSEN Association, led by President Takuma Honmura, has announced that Sega Sammy Holdings will serve as the official venue partner for the upcoming 4th SASSEN National Championship. Scheduled for June 14, 2026, this year's championship will be held at Tunnel Tokyo, a co-working space operated by Sega Sammy Innovations Inc., a fully-owned subsidiary of Sega Sammy Holdings, located on the 9th floor of the Sumitomo Real Estate Osaki Garden Tower in Shinagawa, Tokyo.

About Tunnel Tokyo

Established in October 2018 with the concept of 'Let’s change the game', Tunnel Tokyo has become a popular co-working space, fostering collaboration between Sega Sammy Group employees and external talents. It aims to stimulate the development of new ideas and businesses through increased interaction among its members, including startups and freelancers.

The venue boasts an impressive 20-meter-wide and 3-meter-high large LED signage known as the 'Tunnel Grand Vision', providing a versatile platform for broadcasting various video content and utilizing screens during events and seminars. Furthermore, the big gate tunnel connecting the open lounge to the member lounge symbolizes the journey toward challenges and becoming a 'Game Changer', creating an engaging environment that stimulates creativity.

Promoting Open Innovation

Sega Sammy Innovations Inc. was established in April 2026 with the intention of promoting open innovation. Their goal is to leverage the collaborative synergy created during the SASSEN National Championship to foster growth and creativity in the upcoming event.

Rei Ikeda, a director at Sega Sammy Innovations, shared his enthusiasm, stating, "SASSEN embodies the digital fairness, vibrant atmosphere, sporting excitement, and the intensity associated with martial arts. We believe the compatibility with the large LED signage at Tunnel Tokyo will provide an extraordinary immersive experience for all participants."

An Unforgettable Event Awaits

The upcoming SASSEN National Championship is expected to showcase the unique charm and appeal of SASSEN, which has quickly become a highlight in urban Tokyo, providing an unprecedented stage for players to shine. The organizers are looking forward to an exciting event that draws increased attention to SASSEN, the next-generation digital sport that anyone, from children to adults, can enjoy regardless of gender.
