The annual Waterfront Festival is set to take place on September 23, 2024, at the beautiful Odaiba Seaside Park in Tokyo, an event designed to foster community interaction and promote the appreciation of local water resources. Boat Racing Competition

One of the main attractions of this year’s festival is the thrilling regional boat race, where teams from the Shibaura Konan areas—comprising of Shibaura and Kaigan 2-3 Chome, Konan, and Daiba—will compete in 6-person inflatable boats. Expect an exhilarating atmosphere as 378 participants from 63 teams take to the water in 19 exciting races!

Live Performances

Not just about the races, the Waterfront Festival also showcases local talent. Six different community groups will take the stage to perform a variety of shows, highlighting the rich culture and creativity of the region.

Interactive Experiences

Festival-goers can also enjoy hands-on experiences without any prior registration, making it easy for everyone to join in on the fun. Participants can hop on engine-powered boats for a thrilling ride or join in on beach games such as flip-flop throwing and tag rugby.
