Jordan Bartow Joins Quickplay as North America General Manager, Aims to Transform Streaming Landscape

Quickplay Expands Leadership with Jordan Bartow's Appointment

Quickplay, a prominent player in the Over-The-Top (OTT) solutions market, has recently made headlines with the announcement of Jordan Bartow as its new General Manager for North America. With over 15 years of experience in driving artificial intelligence (AI) and enterprise cloud transformations, Bartow is expected to play a critical role in furthering Quickplay's growth and innovation in the competitive media landscape.

Prior to his new position at Quickplay, Bartow was instrumental in diverse strategic initiatives at Google Cloud, where he drove significant AI adoption for notable leaders in the media, entertainment, and sports sectors. One of his notable achievements included the deployment of an AI solution to 150 million users, showcasing his capability to scale innovative technologies in collaboration with some of the industry's biggest players.

His experience also includes a key partnership with LIV Golf, working on pioneering media strategies and initiatives focused on enhancing digital engagement with fans. This unique background at the crossroads of sports, streaming, and AI-powered content sets Bartow up as an ideal leader to expand Quickplay's offerings.

Bartow expressed enthusiasm for joining Quickplay, stating, "Quickplay is redefining the future of streaming, and I'm energized by their commitment to creating products that improve streaming profitability. The mindset of challenging the status quo was evident to me from my initial interactions with the company. The culture here is open and inspiring, making it the perfect place for my next chapter." He emphasized his eagerness to help shape the direction of Quickplay's portfolio, particularly with the newly unveiled Quickplay Shorts, as well as to forge strong partnerships that unlock new opportunities for clients.

A proponent of innovative thinking, Bartow aims to streamline processes that allow for quicker decision-making and implementation, cutting through corporate inertia that often hinders progress. With a history of managing multimillion-dollar projects across AI, cloud, and streaming industries, he is well-prepared to spearhead Quickplay's next phase of growth and innovation.

Paul Pastor, Co-Founder and Chief Business Officer of Quickplay, welcomed Bartow to the team, noting, "At Quickplay, we encourage our team to take risks; from our very first meeting, I knew Jordan embodied that spirit." Pastor continued, highlighting Bartow's propensity for challenging traditional sales models and his passion for solving complex problems as key attributes that align with the company’s vibrant culture.

Bartow's appointment follows three other recent executive hires aimed at bolstering Quickplay's leadership team, including Prabu Chelladurai as Managing Director of EMEA – Platform Solutions Delivery, Sean Lynch as Director of Business Development, and Adam Mitchell as Global Head of Customer Success Analytics. This strategic expansion signifies Quickplay's dedication to strengthening industry presence and expertise as demand for innovative streaming solutions continues to grow.
