Yayoi Inc., headquartered in Chiyoda, Tokyo, has announced the launch of pre-registration for its cloud-based labor management service, Yayoi Labor Management Next, effective June 1, 2026. Scheduled to debut as a standalone offering in late July 2026, this service has previously been bundled with Yayoi Payroll Next. The decision to offer Yayoi Labor Management Next separately was made to accommodate small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) who utilize other payroll services but wish to digitize only their labor management processes.
In an effort to facilitate this transition, Yayoi is introducing a pre-registration campaign. Customers who enter their details during the specified campaign period on the entry form and opt for an annual contract will benefit from a three-month fee waiver on the base price and any additional charges for exceeding the plan's employee cap. This initiative is aimed at providing SMEs with a cost-effective method to enhance the efficiency of their labor management operations.
Background
The labor and human resources tasks encountered by SMEs often remain reliant on outdated practices, heavily utilizing paper and postal systems. This has exacerbated work burdens and led to inefficiencies that many businesses struggle to manage. Manual data entry and document oversight introduce the risk of errors, while the individualization of workflow hampers standardization. Furthermore, the scattering of employee data across various tools can lead to delayed information updates and procedural oversights, complicating management tasks.
As a response to these challenges, there is a clear need for online labor management and centralized information management to enhance operational efficiency and accuracy. Yayoi has previously provided integrated payroll, attendance, and labor management solutions in Yayoi Payroll Next, and is now seeking to address the specific needs of labor management by releasing Yayoi Labor Management Next as a distinct service in July 2026.
Features of Yayoi Labor Management Next
