Enhancing Japan's Global Appeal through IP Collaboration



The Intellectual Property Strategy Headquarters of the Cabinet Office is making strides to amplify the value of Japanese content on the global stage. On December 19, 2025, the third CJPF LAB event, titled "Enhancing Value through Collaboration with IP: Current Status and Future Prospects" will take place. Organized by the Cabinet Office and managed by Vpon Japan, the event will focus on the synergy between Japanese content, such as anime and manga, and various industries. This collaboration aims to elevate Japan's charm worldwide and boost inbound tourism by allowing more people to experience the rich culture and creative products Japan has to offer.

The event venue has been confirmed at the ARCH Toranomon Hills Incubation Center Magnet Room, located in a prime area of Tokyo. The hybrid format will allow both in-person and online participation, catering to diverse attendee preferences.

  • - Koji Tsuiki, Director at TOPPAN Co., leads initiatives that engage with manga, anime, and character IP within the printing technology sector. His experience extends to diverse business developments, including implementing merchandising strategies, creating pop-up stores, and engaging in collaborative projects that respect the integrity of IP while building sustainable ecosystems.
