MARSTEK Unveils the VENUS E Series at Intersolar Europe 2026: A New Era for Plug-in Batteries

MARSTEK Unveils the VENUS E Series at Intersolar Europe 2026

From June 23 to 25, 2026, MARSTEK will showcase its latest innovations at Intersolar Europe in Munich. Among the highlights will be the VENUS E series, a new lineup of plug-in batteries that caters to a range of household energy storage needs from beginner solutions to comprehensive home energy supply systems.

Overview of the VENUS E Series

VENUS E Mini - World’s Thinnest Plug-in Battery

The VENUS E Mini is designed for those new to energy storage and for installations with space constraints. It offers a bidirectional power capability of 1.5 kW and a storage capacity of 2 kWh. Featuring MARSTEK's AI-driven energy prediction and a sleek wall-mounted design, it weighs only 22 kg. This battery provides modern homes with a compact and flexible energy solution.

VENUS E 4.0 - Enhanced Plug-in Battery

The VENUS E 4.0 is tailored for homes with existing solar power systems. Boasting up to 3 kW bidirectional charge and discharge capabilities, it offers a storage capacity of 5 kWh in an optimized AC-coupled structure. Equipped with AI energy optimization, virtual power plant (VPP) functionality, and total home backup power options, it is further expandable to 9 kW and 15 kWh via SmartBox. It also allows seamless integration of electric vehicle charging stations, enabling efficient household energy management.

VENUS E MAX - The First 10 kWh All-in-One Plug-in Battery

Targeting high-energy households, the VENUS E MAX provides 3.6 kW bidirectional charge and discharge abilities with a storage capacity of 10 kWh. Through parallel expansion with SmartBox, the system can reach up to 10.8 kW power and 30 kWh storage capacity. This product features advanced AI energy management, participation in VPPs, total home backup capabilities, and integration with EV charging infrastructure, creating a powerful and scalable energy ecosystem.

VENUS E Pro - Advanced All-in-One Plug-in Battery

The VENUS E Pro combines a high-voltage MPPT input of up to 3 kW with a 2 kW AC coupling in a modular compact design. Starting with a base capacity of 2.08 kWh that can be expanded up to 12.48 kWh, it supports PV input voltage ranging from 50 to 500 V. This flexibility allows the connection of 2 to 8 solar modules via a single MPPT tracker. Installation is simplified, requiring only two PV connections. Additionally, it boasts intelligent AI energy management and an exceptionally fast switch to backup power within less than 10 ms, supplemented by a backup power output of 2 kW.

Future of Plug-in Batteries

To deepen collaboration with industry partners and customers, MARSTEK will host a launch event for the VENUS E series in Eindhoven, Netherlands, on June 30, 2026. Participants will receive insights into the latest technologies in plug-in batteries and emerging trends in household energy.

By integrating intelligent software solutions, versatile installation options, and scalable hardware architectures, MARSTEK is making advanced home energy storage globally accessible, efficient, and user-friendly, significantly advancing the development of the next generation of plug-in batteries.
