Man'yō Ancient Studies Tokyo Course 2025
The Nara Prefectural Man'yō Museum, located in Asuka Village - the birthplace of the Man'yōshū collection, serves as a pivotal institution for ancient cultural studies. Since 2007, the museum has organized the "Man'yō Ancient Studies Tokyo Course" annually, aimed at making the outcomes of its research more accessible to the public.
This year, as significant artifacts excavated from the Asuka Ike Workshop, including the Funamoto coins, have been designated as Important Cultural Properties, we invite you to delve into the theme of "National Treasures and Important Cultural Properties" with insights from our dedicated researchers at the museum.
