On October 30, 2025, Ishigaki Island will host a unique event titled "Halloween Jazz Night," promising an unforgettable musical experience at the Kraamono Sake & Gallery located in the Ishigaki Island Hotel Cucule. This event is organized by Time Arrow Yaeyama Co., Ltd., part of the Shimada Group, with the aim of merging the island's vibrant culture with jazz music in an immersive Halloween atmosphere.

Event Details

The Halloween Jazz Night will start at 5:00 PM and last until 10:00 PM, featuring notable performances by three distinct acts:

• - Sanshiro (Saxophone): A celebrated Japanese saxophonist and Berklee College of Music alumnus, Sanshiro has captivated audiences around the world with his eclectic music style.
• - Mackacho-K Boys: This talented quartet, consisting of Katsukiya Sakurajima (Bass), Hiroki Tamaki (Drums), Hideo Kishaba (Guitar), and Kuninori Tamori (Trumpet), will deliver a fusion of jazz, rock, hip-hop, and world music, reflecting the rich musical heritage of the region.
• - Tiago Tengan (Piano): Originally from Brazil, Tiago Tengan has settled in Ishigaki, where he performs jazz and Brazilian music, thus adding a unique international flavor to the evening.

No advance reservation is required to attend; guests can simply show up at the venue. Admission is free, but attendees will need to purchase a drink upon entry. To spice up the Halloween experience, guests who arrive in costume will receive a complimentary drink. Additionally, a "Best Dresser Award" will be given to a participant who showcases an outstanding costume, rewarding their creativity.
