On April 18th and 19th, 2026, the RUI Camera, a brand under Akiba Distribution Co., will present a collaborative photo exhibition titled 'Square of Possibilities' in partnership with PICTE. This event aims to showcase the diverse expressions of photography through a unified square format and explores the potential of creativity within limitations.

About the Exhibition


The essence of 'Square of Possibilities' lies in its unique approach; artists are provided with either a 70cm or 100cm square display area, where they can choose to present a single photograph or create a multi-photo layout. Despite the same framework, the resulting artworks will differ greatly due to the artists' choices in subject matter, composition, and presentation. This exhibition promises an engaging experience for visitors, allowing them to appreciate the varied perspectives and expressions inherent in photography.

Confirmed Artists


Seventeen talented individuals, including professionals, amateurs, and students, will participate in this exhibition. Here’s a selection of some prominent artists:

- Title: 'Capturing the Now'
- Focused on preserving the beauty of motherhood through photography, she has taught over 70 students in her camera classes and has multiple accolades to her name.

  • - OTTO
- Title: '[People with Cameras]'
- An award-winning photographer whose work has been featured in NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC, showcasing the enchanting world of camera enthusiasts.

- Title: 'Miracle of White -15 Degrees Morning'
- As a young wildlife photographer, he depicts the rare sight of an albino squirrel in the harsh cold of Hokkaido, earning acclaim for his captures.

- Title: 'Untitled'
- Drawn to portraiture, he seeks to express the unique personalities of his models through his photography.

- Title: 'F1 Japanese Grand Prix 2026 Suzuka Circuit'
- A lifelong car enthusiast whose work highlights the beauty of speed in a variety of settings.

  • - Masanao Zushi
- Title: 'Fragrance of Spring'
- Focuses on capturing seasonal changes in familiar parks, emphasizing the beauty found in everyday landscapes.

Additionally, artists like Maria Miyasaka (@mmari.photo), Davydenko (@takamarudesuyo), and more will also contribute their unique voices to the exhibition.
