Menarini Group and Ryvu Therapeutics Present Promising Results for Dapolsertib in Aggressive Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma

Promising Results for Dapolsertib in B-cell Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma

The pharmaceutical industry continues to evolve, with novel therapies emerging to combat complex diseases. A recent collaboration between Menarini Group and Ryvu Therapeutics has unveiled notable findings regarding dapolsertib, a first-in-class oral dual PIM/FLT3 kinase inhibitor. This significant data stemmed from the Phase II JASPIS-01 study focusing on patients with relapsed/refractory aggressive B-cell non-Hodgkin lymphoma (B-NHL).

Study Background

As reported on November 4, 2026, during the American Society of Hematology (ASH) Annual Meeting, the preliminary results emphasize the potential of dapolsertib as a therapeutic option for heavily pretreated patients who have limited alternatives following standard treatment failures. The target demographic features individuals who have undergone multiple lines of therapy, including therapies like CAR-T cell treatment.

In this trial, over 50% of participants had previously received CAR-T therapy, while 60% were treated with CD3×CD20 bispecific antibodies. The ongoing need for effective treatment strategies for patients struggling with aggressive forms of lymphoma highlights the urgency surrounding this research.

Clinical Findings

The JASPIS-01 study investigates dapolsertib’s efficacy, with data revealing promising clinical activity even in a population with a notably high treatment burden. Out of those enrolled, patients who had exhausted available options demonstrated support for the continued development of this innovative treatment. The study provides crucial insights into the safety profile of dapolsertib as well, with manageable side effects reported, allowing for an intended dose level throughout the trials.

Elcin Barker Ergun, the CEO of Menarini Group, expressed optimism regarding these findings, asserting the importance of dapolsertib as a future therapeutic option for individuals with limited treatment avenues. This sentiment was echoed by Hendrik Nogai, M.D., from Ryvu Therapeutics, who noted the high aggression of the disease among participants underlining the study’s significance in advancing treatment for patient populations in dire need.
