About Tokyo Verdy eSports / Racing
Founded in 1969 with the ambition of becoming Japan’s first professional soccer team, Tokyo Verdy has evolved to meet the diverse demands of society through the development of varied talents and sports entertainment offerings.
In the realm of virtual competition, we established our eSports team in 2016 as the first among Japanese professional sports teams, participating in numerous global tournaments and producing multiple national and world champions.
With a goal to participate in the upcoming JAF-approved e-Motorsports League UNIZONE, we have established Tokyo Verdy Racing as a fusion of real and e-racers. Our club is dedicated to thriving on international platforms while also engaging in workshops for children across Japan to develop digital talent in collaboration with local governments and companies.
