Insight Partners Unveils 2025 CIO Council to Foster Global Tech Innovation

On August 12, 2025, global software investment firm Insight Partners introduced its 2025 cohort for the CIO Council. This illustrious group comprises 15 prominent leaders from various sectors who are pivotal in transforming the role of Chief Information Officer (CIO) within enterprises. This year's members hail from leading companies such as PG, Liberty Mutual, Roche, and Wendy's, all of whom are committed to enhancing the strategic influence of technology in their organizations.

In its fourth consecutive year, the CIO Council, previously known as the Enterprise Technology Exchange, stands as a vital platform for Global 2000 technology entrepreneurs. It provides a space for them to exchange insights on emerging trends, rigorously evaluate key decisions, and utilize peer feedback to expedite enterprise-level transformations. The council will actively delve into crucial topics, including agentic AI, proactive risk management strategies, and the shifting geopolitical landscape.

During the initial 18 months of their tenure, members will be exposed to the dynamics of venture capital and foster connections with prominent software investors and experts from Insight Partners. Importantly, they will also support founders of portfolio companies who are in the midst of developing cutting-edge technologies. Quarterly virtual meetings will focus on a knowledge exchange surrounding fundamental issues, such as next-generation enterprise application architecture and future-proofing cloud strategies.

This autumn, the Council plans to convene in person to collectively reflect on pressing themes concerning business, technology, and leadership and further reinforce relationships among members. The Insight Partners for Enterprise team, which collaborates with over 3,000 senior technology executives across more than 950 enterprises, backs council members and their teams. This team is dedicated to helping leaders navigate the various technological shifts and challenges by connecting them to relevant expertise and solutions, aided by initiatives such as Founders Days, innovation briefings, and curated communities.

Emmet B. Keeffe III, Managing Director at Insight Partners, expressed his enthusiasm for the latest cohort, stating, "As we launch our latest CIO Council cohort, we're more inspired than ever by the momentum this community has built. What began as a forum for connection has evolved into a high-impact platform where CIOs and portfolio founders shape enterprise innovation together. We're excited to welcome this new cohort of industry leaders and look forward to deeper collaboration on GenAI, cyber resilience, and the technology shifts that are redefining the global enterprise landscape."

Since 2022, the Insight Partners for Enterprise initiative has facilitated nearly 600 valuable connections between Council Members and Insight portfolio companies. These engagements provide founders with essential insights into enterprise-level requirements and expectations while allowing council members to influence tech solutions that address genuine enterprise challenges. Moreover, the council has participated in nearly 100 Innovation Briefings tailored specifically for their teams on select deep-dive tech subjects, leading to significant partnerships, pilot programs, corporate venture investments, and constructive feedback loops for product development.

Reflecting on the evolving nature of the program, Alberto Padilla Rivera, SVP and Program Lead at Insight Partners, noted, "As we welcome our fourth CIO Council cohort, it's remarkable to see how the program has evolved in tandem with the CIO role itself. From navigating pandemic-era digitization to unlocking the potential of GenAI, this community continues to grow in impact by providing CIOs with a trusted forum to exchange ideas and amplify their voices on the technologies that will define the next decade."
