Sega has officially announced the much-anticipated collaboration café, SONIC & FRIENDS CAFE, set to take place from January 9 to February 1, 2026. This exciting event will unfold at both the and GALLERY Yurakucho and and GALLERY Nagoya 2 branches, immersing fans in the vibrant world of Sonic and his beloved friends!

What to Expect

During this limited-time event, guests will indulge in a number of exclusive food items and drinks, each inspired by the charming short anime SONIC & FRIENDS that features Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, and more. Visitors can look forward to food items such as the "Microscopic Adventure" hamburger, priced at ¥1,600 (and ¥3,000 with a souvenir), as well as the delightful "Let’s Go to See the Shooting Stars" omelette curry for ¥1,700. Along with these meals, the café will also offer a variety of sweet treats including tropical parfaits and character pancakes, priced at ¥1,200 each, and shareable donuts for ¥3,000.

Here's a sneak peek at the drinks menu: character drinks available for ¥850 each, with special souvenir charms for ¥1,500. Collectors will enjoy the different drink options featuring Sonic, Amy, Knuckles, and Shadow! Additionally, guests can choose from five designs of printed lattes at ¥850.

Special Promotions and Reservations

Starting from December 11 at 18:00, fans can reserve their seats via the dedicated website, where every pre-booking will grant them a special acrylic keychain as a thank-you. The with-a-reservation fee is ¥550 per person.

In conjunction with the café opening, the Bic Camera Yurakucho store will host a special campaign from January 9 to February 1, 2026. Customers spending ¥6,000 or more on Sonic Racing Cross World games or SONIC & FRIENDS merchandise will receive a limited-edition acrylic stand!

Must-Have Merchandise

The SONIC & FRIENDS CAFE will also showcase various merchandise, including trading badges, acrylic stands, clear cards, name tags, and much more, with prices ranging from ¥550 to ¥880. Each financial transaction over ¥2,500 will reward buyers with random gifts, which will rotate throughout the event.

Exclusive Novelties

Guests visiting during the café’s first half can receive one of six exclusive postcards between January 9 and January 20, while the second half (January 21 to February 1) will display a different postcard variety. There will also be paper coasters, aligning with orders of collaborative food and drink.

Play and Enjoy

Fans can also partake in free play sessions of Sonic Racing Cross World within the café. This hands-on experience is the perfect chance to dive deeper into the Sonic adventure while enjoying delectable food and drinks. Note that online modes will not be available for this trial run.
