About the Tokyo Universal Philharmonic Orchestra

Founded in 1973, the Tokyo Universal Philharmonic Orchestra, also known as UniPhil, aims to promote arts and culture among youth and the community. Originally established as the Japan New Symphony Orchestra, it was renamed in 1977 and is now celebrating 53 years since its inception.
