Celebrate Shibuya's Summer with the HACHI Stamp Rally!

As the summer temperature rises, Shibuya is set to become a vibrant hotspot for tourists and locals alike. From August 1 to August 31, 2026, the "HACHI Connecting Stamp Rally in Shibuya" will take place in collaboration with eight notable facilities throughout the area. This event celebrates the unique day of 8/8/8, where the number 8 appears three times, symbolizing happiness and good fortune.

The event revolves around HACHI, the iconic statue that represents Shibuya. It invites participants to explore eight different spaces, each offering their unique allure. The goal is to provide visitors with a chance to discover the diverse charms of Shibuya while creating an atmosphere of excitement amidst the summer heat. By encouraging foot traffic among the facilities, the event aims to enhance Shibuya’s lively atmosphere and promote local attractions.

How to Participate

Participants can collect digital stamps by visiting the various locations using their smartphones. With each stamp collected, participants will not only enjoy exclusive original goods but also stand a chance to win special items through a lucky draw.

This digital rally is designed to be accessible for all, offering multilingual support, making it perfect for both Japanese locals and international visitors. It ensures that everyone can navigate Shibuya and enjoy the unique offerings from each facility without any language barriers.

Locations to Visit

The stamp rally features a total of eight participating spots, including:
  • - Crossing View & Rooftop Lounge MAG8 (Elevator Entrance)
  • - Shibuya Excel Hotel Tokyu (5th Floor Lobby)
  • - SHIBUYA STREAM HOTEL (4th Floor Lobby Lounge)
  • - Shibuya Tokyu REI Hotel (B1F Front Desk)
  • - Cerulean Tower Tokyu Hotel (LBF Lobby)
  • - Tokyo Metro Ginza Line Shibuya Station (Near the Meiji Street Exit)
  • - HACHI Full SHIBUYA meets AKITA (Prize Redemption at Shibuya Scramble Square, 14F)
  • - WANDER COMPASS (Inside Store)

To join the fun, simply access the campaign site and follow the prompts to gather stamps by scanning QR codes and answering quizzes at each location. Collecting five or more stamps allows participants to exchange them for an original HACHI88 item at HACHI Full SHIBUYA meets AKITA.

For those who complete the challenge by collecting all eight stamps, an online draw offers fabulous prizes, including plush toys of the original Akita dog mascot, Masaru. These toys are crafted by the Akita Dog Preservation Society, with Masaru becoming the official influencer for Cerulean Tower Tokyu Hotel in April 2025.

Plus, as a keepsake, visitors can also receive a free "Stamp Book" at any of the eight locations. This booklet not only serves as a collector's item but also provides insights on each participating spot and highlights various activities happening in Shibuya throughout August.

Join the Experience

This initiative not only adds vibrancy but also facilitates connections among people, establishments, and the city itself. As we commemorate the propitious date of 8/8/8, the collaboration of eight facilities aims to create lasting summer memories in Shibuya that are intrinsic to the city’s character.
