One Heung Kong Partners with Guangdong Fashion Week for Global Fashion Landmark
One Heung Kong's Collaboration with Guangdong Fashion Week
One Heung Kong has taken a significant step in the world of fashion by formally partnering with the renowned Guangdong Fashion Week. This strategic alliance was officially announced during a press conference held on April 7, 2026, at the One Heung Kong Art Exhibition Hall in Guangzhou, China. The upcoming 37th Guangdong Fashion Week, themed “Saluting to Dreams,” is set to take place from April 17 to April 24, featuring over 60 themed events at various locations including a primary venue and eight additional venues in the Wanbo CBD area.
The partnership aims to transform the Guangdong Fashion Week into a continuous global attraction rather than just a one-week event. As part of their agreement, One Heung Kong has been designated the official permanent exhibition and event venue for the Fashion Week. This innovative platform will not only host fashion shows but will also serve as a hub for art exchanges and brand launches, seeking to establish a year-round presence in the fashion industry.
The Guangdong province is a vital region in China’s garment industry, boasting competitive advantages across the entire supply chain. This year’s fashion week aligns closely with goals to increase market expansion and sales, showcasing original designs and implementing a “See-Now-Buy-Now” model, effectively depicting the evolution of Chinese fashion from “Made in China” to “Created and Led by China.” An anticipated highlight of the week will be One Heung Kong’s original presentation, featuring the unique fashion show “Monet Garden.”
Having the Fashion Week anchored in Panyu has infused the Wanbo CBD with a vibrant fashion culture, helping to transition the Changlong Wanbo business district into a nationally recognized trading hub. One Heung Kong serves as a catalyst in this transformation, integrating art, technology, and cultural resources into a blended ecosystem that represents a practical example of China’s emerging leadership in creativity.
Additionally, the Panyu district is leveraging this Fashion Week as a means to enhance its “chain-leading effect,” aiming to connect fashion-related industries into a colossal industry cluster estimated at around 100 billion Yuan. The goal is to achieve a total production value exceeding this target by 2028, facilitating a shift from being primarily a clothing manufacturing district to becoming a prominent center for the fashion industry.
This partnership marks a momentous occasion for both One Heung Kong and Guangdong Fashion Week, promising a dynamic evolution in the global fashion landscape as they work collectively to celebrate and advance the fashion culture rooted in China.
