Exciting Updates in Chaos Zero Nightmare

On April 9, Smilegate Megaport announced significant updates for their popular rogue-like RPG, Chaos Zero Nightmare, developed by SUPER CREATIVE. The latest pre-season update includes the introduction of the new ★5 combatant, Diana, alongside a fresh content feature known as Total War.

Meet Diana

Diana is a combatant characterized by her passion attribute and is classified as a Hunter. She specializes in applying continuous pressure on opponents, allowing damage to accumulate over time. One of her unique mechanics is her ability to activate effects called Resonance and Rest by discarding certain cards.

- Resonance triggers additional damage whenever a card is discarded.
- Rest allows players to activate a corresponding card by discarding one that holds this effect, offering strategic opportunities during battle.

In conjunction with Diana, the new ★5 partner, Sofia, offers significant enhancements to designated combatants when specific keyword cards are discarded, providing added critical damage or additional attacks.

Introducing Total War Content

The new content feature, Total War, enables players to contest against challenging boss monsters previously faced in major fissures. Players can gain rewards through these re-encounters, with all three varieties of bosses appearing throughout this content. Teams can be organized in threes to tackle the different bosses, providing a collaborative gameplay experience.

During this pre-season, players will also preview elements from the upcoming Galactic Disaster Season 3, titled “The Singing Voice Echoes Through the Galaxy.” This preview allows players to gather save data and experience the chaos set to unfold. Additionally, improvements to the partner system, combatant reward lobbies, and the introduction of new stories within the Unigram format will be featured.

Events and Rewards

To celebrate the launch of these updates, multiple events have been scheduled.

- The Operation: Firebreak, running until April 29, offers players the chance to earn rewards through chaos gameplay. Players can utilize their combatant's save data to activate the Phase Projection effect, aiding in battle. Rewards include essential growth materials such as crystals.
- The event Love Dwell in Wings commemorates Diana's debut, allowing participants to resolve incidents with her presence while securing limited-time achievements and rewards.
- To celebrate the six-month service anniversary, the Half Anniversary Pre-Event will introduce a dedicated information page where players can earn rewards based on their ether consumption.
