Bulat Utemuratov Foundation Achieves Double Victory at EUROBAK Awards 2025 for Social Responsibility

Celebrating Community and Inclusion

The Bulat Utemuratov Foundation has achieved remarkable recognition by winning two prestigious EUROBAK Awards 2025, hosted by the European Business Association of Kazakhstan. These awards are a testament to the Foundation's enduring commitment to fostering social responsibility and inclusivity within communities across Kazakhstan.

A Beacon of Hope: The Kosshy Community Center

In the category of Corporate Social Responsibility, the Foundation garnered accolades for the creation of a state-of-the-art multifunctional community center located in the city of Kosshy. Officially inaugurated in March 2025, this cultural and sports complex spans 8,500 square meters and has been constructed according to international standards. With the capacity to accommodate up to 1,000 visitors simultaneously, this landmark facility is a gift to the citizens of Kosshy, as it has been transferred at no cost to the city's administration.

Designed to be fully accessible for individuals with disabilities, the center aims to cater to people of all ages. It amalgamates various sports, educational, and leisure facilities, which include a cinema, conference rooms, exhibition halls, creative studios, coworking spaces, a large library, and a multi-purpose gymnasium. The outdoor amenities are equally impressive, featuring fields for football, basketball, volleyball, and tennis, as well as ping pong areas, training zones, and a scenic promenade.

Children can engage in an array of clubs, ranging from robotics and chess to dance and crafts, while adults benefit from designated spaces equipped for work, interaction, and leisure. Entrance to the center is free, with all programs open to the public, reinforcing a spirit of community and unity.

Raising Awareness: Autism Awareness Month

Furthermore, the Foundation's second honor was awarded for its national campaign during Autism Awareness Month. This initiative aimed at educating the public about autism spectrum disorders (ASD) and promoting inclusion while providing support to families raising children with ASD. This campaign builds on over ten years of dedicated work, during which the Foundation established 13 'Asyl Miras' autism centers throughout Kazakhstan, delivering evidence-based and free support to families.

Ainur Karbozova, CEO of the Bulat Utemuratov Foundation, expressed pride in receiving two EUROBAK awards this year, stating, "This recognition is a significant acknowledgment of our mission to create opportunities and promote inclusion for individuals throughout Kazakhstan. The community center in Kosshy and our national awareness campaign for autism embody the values we uphold — bringing people together, breaking down barriers, and building spaces, both physical and social, where everyone can thrive."

A Legacy of Impact

This year, the Bulat Utemuratov Foundation also received the EUROBAK Award 2024 for its contribution to the infrastructure development of Kazakhstan with the construction of a new airport terminal in Kyzylorda. The Foundation's holistic approach to community development and social welfare not only highlights its pivotal role in Kazakhstan but also inspires other organizations to follow suit in creating inclusive and supportive environments for all.

In summary, the achievements of the Bulat Utemuratov Foundation at the EUROBAK Awards 2025 are not just accolades; they are a reflection of a continuous journey toward fostering inclusive communities that empower every individual, regardless of their circumstances.
