Engage Your Senses at Yoku Moku Museum's Art Session
The Yoku Moku Museum, located in the heart of Minato City, Tokyo, invites participants to join their enriching monthly program known as the "YM Art Session." This initiative focuses on utilizing the therapeutic benefits of art, based on a concept called "clinical art." By engaging the five senses, participants can enhance creativity, relieve stress, and rejuvenate their minds.
What to Expect in February 2026
In February 2026, the YM Art Session will feature a unique theme titled "Ema Byobu," inspired by the traditional Japanese ema, a wooden plaque used for wishes and prayers. This art session encourages participants to express their creativity through the imagery of horses, a central motif represented in the ema. Attendees will explore various materials beyond traditional brushes to experience the richness of ink and its unique expressions on screen.
The recommended participation fee is 4,500 yen (including tax) for the art session, which reflects a new pricing structure that will be implemented from 2026. For parents wishing to accompany their children as spectators, entry is free of charge.
