Midea Unveils Innovative Energy Solutions at Chillventa 2026 Trade Show

Midea Showcases Innovative Energy Solutions at Chillventa 2026

From October 13 to 15, 2026, Midea participated in the Chillventa trade show, where they introduced a range of innovative heating and energy management solutions that highlighted their commitment to advanced technology in the HVAC sector. The company displayed cutting-edge indoor heat pumps and systems designed to provide heating solutions tailored for colder climates, enhancing residential comfort and energy efficiency.

During the event, Midea was recognized for its significant contributions to the HVAC industry, receiving two prestigious awards: the Euromonitor World’s No.1 Residential Inverter Air Conditioner Company and the World’s No.1 R290 Air Conditioner Company, an accolade they have claimed for four consecutive years. These awards were accepted by Ralph Kobsik, Managing Director of Midea Europe GmbH, underscoring the company's commitment to excellence.

One of the standout innovations was the H-Pack system. Developed by Midea's European R&D team, the H-Pack is an indoor heat pump designed to tackle common installation challenges in the European market. Its unique configuration eliminates the need for external units, addressing concerns related to noise, limited space, and local building regulations. The modular design simplifies installation and maintenance, while remote diagnostics help reduce the frequency of service visits. The system supports both fully electric and hybrid operations, making it versatile for various applications.

Midea also showcased the VitaBreeze system, featuring a live demonstration of their AirGrid technology. This cutting-edge system allows users to visualize and direct airflow precisely where they need it via a smartphone application. Key features include wide-angle air distribution, intelligent presence detection, and the latest Breezeless Pro technology, which boasts a 30% larger air output area. Additionally, it incorporates humidity regulation with ClimaBalance and a predictive algorithm, ECOMASTER 2.0, to optimize energy consumption.

In the premium split air conditioner segment, Midea introduced the Raynor model, which combines A+++ cooling and heating efficiency with a prestigious design that has garnered accolades from both the iF Design Award and the German Design Award. Notably, the Raynor Pro provides full heating capacity at temperatures as low as -25°C and operates effectively at temperatures down to -40°C, highlighting its suitability for severe weather conditions.

The PortaSplit solution generated considerable interest with real-life installation examples from Europe. This flexible system delivers high performance alongside silent operation and features a straightforward installation process, which can significantly decrease installation costs. Looking ahead, Midea announced that starting in 2027, the PortaSplit will utilize R290 refrigerant, reflecting their commitment to environmentally friendly refrigerants.

Another highlight was MHELIOS, Midea’s energy management solution for homes. By optimizing energy storage and consumption based on dynamic electricity pricing fluctuations, MHELIOS helps reduce household energy costs and enhances network efficiency. It facilitates integrated management for electric vehicle chargers, heat pumps, solar systems, and energy storage systems.

Reinforcing its commitment to sustainability under the motto Green Vision, Blue Future, Midea continues to lead innovations in heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and energy management that promote more efficient, comfortable, and sustainable living across Europe. A recent case study conducted in Germany demonstrated that a household consuming 10,800 kWh can save approximately €1,866 annually, emphasizing the tangible benefits of adopting Midea's solutions.

With its groundbreaking technologies and eco-conscious approach, Midea is positioning itself as a leader in the HVAC industry, aiming for a sustainable future while enhancing everyday comfort for consumers.

As the company moves forward, its participations in events like Chillventa not only showcase their latest advancements but also reinforce their dedication to driving the HVAC industry towards a greener, more sustainable course.
