Midea Unveils Innovative Heating and Energy Solutions at Chillventa 2026

Midea, a leader in global HVAC solutions, showcased its advanced heating technologies at the Chillventa 2026 trade show, held in Nuremberg, Germany, from October 13 to 15. This year’s event highlighted Midea’s commitment to innovation in residential heating and cooling, particularly in cold climate conditions. Notably, Midea has been recognized by Euromonitor for four consecutive years as the world's top manufacturer of household inverter air conditioners and R290 refrigerant air conditioners.

Innovative Products on Display

One of the standout products at the exhibition was the H-Pack, an indoor heat pump designed by Midea’s European R&D team. This innovative solution addresses common installation challenges in Europe by eliminating the need for an outdoor unit. This eliminates noise issues, spatial constraints, and compliance with construction regulations. The modular design simplifies installation and maintenance, while remote diagnostic capabilities reduce the need for service calls. The H-Pack operates in both fully electric and hybrid modes, showcasing its versatility.

In addition, Midea introduced the VitaBreeze system, which features the cutting-edge AirGrid technology. With the help of a smartphone app, users can visualize airflow and direct it precisely where needed. This system also includes features such as wide-angle air distribution, intelligent presence detection, and the Breezeless Pro technology that enlarges the air outlet by 30%. Furthermore, the ClimaBalance humidity control system and the ECOMASTER 2.0 predictive algorithm are integrated to optimize energy consumption.

The premium segment also saw the introduction of the Raynor split system air conditioner, which combines high energy efficiency (A+++ rating) in both cooling and heating with award-winning design. Notably engineered for northern climates, the Raynor Pro model maintains 100% heating capacity at temperatures as low as -25°C and functions effectively even at -40°C. Meanwhile, the PortaSplit model garnered attention for its practical installation options in European window frames. The combination of flexible placement, high performance, and low noise levels ensures a decrease in installation costs while maintaining functionality.

Midea also announced that starting in 2027, the PortaSplit will utilize R290 refrigerant, aligning with eco-friendly initiatives.

Another key exhibit was MHELIOS, Midea's comprehensive energy management system. This system optimizes energy storage and consumption, taking into account fluctuating electricity tariffs, thereby assisting households in significantly reducing their energy expenses while improving grid efficiency. It also integrates the management of electric vehicle chargers, heat pumps, solar energy systems, and energy storage units. In a practical study conducted in Germany, it was noted that households could save around €1866 annually with an electricity consumption of 10,800 kWh.

A Vision for the Future

Guided by its principle of “Green Vision, Blue Future,” Midea continues to develop innovative solutions in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) as well as energy technologies. The company's focus is on enhancing energy efficiency, comfort, and environmental sustainability in everyday life across Europe. Midea’s efforts in showcasing advanced technologies at Chillventa 2026 underline its leading role in setting the standards for the HVAC industry while contributing to a sustainable future.

In conclusion, Midea's participation in Chillventa 2026 was not just about presenting new products. It was a reinforcement of their commitment to driving improvements in energy efficiency, user comfort, and environmental responsibility through innovative technologies. This positions Midea as a forward-thinking leader in the HVAC sector, paving the way for a greener future.
