FOD Achieves Top Spot in Oricon Customer Satisfaction
FOD, the video streaming service operated by Fuji TV, has proudly secured the top ranking in Oricon's Customer Satisfaction Survey for the
subscription-based video-on-demand (SVOD) services for domestic dramas. Announced on November 4, 2025, this marks the
third consecutive year that FOD has achieved this accolade in the domestic drama category.
The Oricon Customer Satisfaction Survey plays a crucial role in linking companies that offer services or products with their consumers. It acts as a neutral third party, presenting data on the general satisfaction levels regarding societal living standards. The survey targets users who have experienced a particular service or product and collects data through internet research to generate ranking results.
FOD clinched the top position in
2023 and
2024, continuing its streak into
2025. The evaluation encompassed five key factors: ease of transaction, user-friendliness of the app and website, visibility of video content, the richness of content offerings, and cost performance. The rankings were built upon the feedback from users of video streaming services, underscoring a holistic assessment of the viewing experience.
In
2025, FOD welcomed viewers to premiere episodes of eagerly awaited dramas such as
“波うららかに、めおと日和” and
“119 エマージェンシーコール”, alongside beloved titles like
“ミステリと言う勿れ” and
“コード・ブルー -ドクターヘリ緊急救命-”. This diverse array of content not only highlights FOD's commitment to quality but also the unique value it provides through its vast library, exceeding
100,000 titles.
The honor of maintaining this prestigious position for three consecutive years reflects not just the depth and choice of content available on FOD but also a recognition of the service's dedication to enhancing the viewing experience. The capability to cater to over
1.5 million FOD members shows a commitment to meeting their continuing expectations. Moving forward, FOD aims to expand its offerings, enriching its lineup of original productions, variety shows, live sports, and anime, ensuring an even more satisfying viewing experience for its users.
