Run by Project Adventure Japan, PANZA Okinawa is well-known for its breathtaking MegaZIP, a 250-meter zipline which is the only one in Japan that crosses over the ocean.

A Unique Night Experience

For nine years, MegaZIP has welcomed adventurers during the daylight hours. But for the first time, this adrenaline-filled journey is set to take place under the enchanting glow of night. Imagine gliding through the air, surrounded by the ethereal beauty of a starry sky and illuminated by creative light installations, transforming the zipline experience into a magical nighttime adventure.

Participants will be able to witness the emerald sea during the day; however, at night, it morphs into a dreamlike paradise that brings an entirely new level of excitement and thrill. According to Hiroshi Ishino, the Adventure Entertainment Manager, this event captures PANZA's new brand concept of delivering heart-stirring experiences, just in time for the company's 10th anniversary which will be celebrated in 2027.

Highlights of the Night Zipline

1. Unique Lighting Installations: The lighting for the event will creatively use bouys made from waste drifted to San Marina beach, redesigned into beautiful light objects called 'Buoy Lanterns.' These lanterns radiating soft light will illuminate the path for both adrenaline-seekers flying above and the serene waters below.

2. Interactive Illumination: As participants zip through the air, their gear will incorporate high-luminosity materials, allowing them to create glowing trails against the backdrop of night. For those flying, it’s an adventure into an ocean of light and darkness; for observers on the ground, they’ll witness a spectacular display of moving illumination that adorns the summer night sky.

3. An Adventure that Moves You: This event encourages stunning emotional connections among participants. By stepping into the unknown of a nighttime adventure, enjoying the exhilarating sense of achievement after soaring through the air, and sharing joyous moments with family and friends, attendees will truly grasp PANZA’s philosophy of heart-stirring experiences.
